Join GroovyII’s official experience, read top-left Notes in the Lobby, and choose the offered player count, map, game mode, and modifiers. The creator says this implementation is not 100 percent traditional, so your selected setup and live prompts form the working rulebook.
From Lobby to board
The official August 1 description confirms a global cross-server queue. Before submitting it, review the complete selection summary. Starting Cash, Free Parking, and Auctioning have appeared as modifiers in dated notes; their current values and defaults require the live menu. Bots appeared in a July Play-menu update, but current bot configurations are not publicly documented.
When the match loads, locate your cash, piece, property list, turn indicator, and active action. Do not press through the opening UI until you know which player acts first and what the prompt expects.
Complete a turn
- Wait for your active-turn indicator and roll prompt.
- Roll using the control shown by the current client.
- Let movement and animation complete.
- Read the landed-space result and any displayed amount.
- Choose among the actions the game actually offers.
- Review confirmation details before accepting.
- End or pass the turn only after required actions resolve.
An unowned property may offer a purchase. Compare its displayed cost with your cash and obligations. If you decline, an auction may begin when Auctioning is enabled. An owned property may produce rent according to the current board state. A card or special space can create an immediate action or a held effect; read the text rather than substituting a physical-card rule.
Own and manage property
Use the property or management panel to identify groups, ownership, development, and available actions. The public sources do not establish a complete current property table, building cost, mortgage formula, or even-building rule. If a management action is disabled, check ownership, set completion, development distribution, cash, and turn phase.
Buying creates future leverage but removes liquid cash. A property that completes a set can become more valuable to either you or an opponent. Use Properties and Rent for screen-led ownership checks and Building for the decision to develop.
Trade and auction
In a trade, inspect both sides, the final cash balance, and any newly completed set. Accept only enforceable terms displayed by the interface. A July 21 note fixed trades not sending while bankrupt, which confirms historical state sensitivity but not every current restriction.
In an auction, decide a ceiling before bidding. Account for your remaining reserve and what the asset does for the current owner. Auctioning was made optional, so absence in another match may be expected.
Jail, cards, and bankruptcy
Public update history mentions a three-doubles fix, bankrupt status, and return-to-lobby UI, but does not document the complete current sequences. Follow the jail and debt prompts. Identify a creditor, amount, recovery options, and consequences before selling, mortgaging, trading, or conceding.
The August 1 note officially identifies a Crazy Chances Double Roll card that can be kept and used for two golden dice. It does not establish the complete deck. Open Cards for the currently documented index.
How a match ends
The exact current victory and tie behavior can depend on mode and is not described in the public API text. Read the selected mode description and finish-state screen. A win streak displayed afterward is a recorded status, but public notes do not define qualifying modes, reset rules, disconnects, ties, bots, or private games.
First-match mistakes
- Assuming classic Free Parking is active without checking the modifier.
- Spending all cash because a property or development is available.
- Accepting a trade without pricing what the opponent completes.
- Bidding beyond a private ceiling.
- Clicking repeatedly while an action is pending.
- Treating a card from another edition as part of this deck.
- Leaving a disputed state without recording setup and prompt text.
